Even with a couple of our programs taking some time off over the summer, it has been a busy time at The Link. We said goodbye to Megan and Angeleen – they have moved out of Burns Lake to be closer to family – we will miss them and wish them all the best. As of July 31st, The Link has received donations and funding from 18 local businesses and organizations as well as dozens of local community members!!! We appreciate all of the support we receive and take this responsibility very seriously. Last year The Link provided service to over 1200 and we could not do it without our donors!!

On March 11th , when the World health Organization characterized COVID-19 as a Pandemic, it became very clear that the work done at the Link would have to adapt and change to this new reality. The Link staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to maintain programming where appropriate and temporarily suspended services for redesign where it was in the best interest of the community. Thank you to everyone who has made this possible!
